Vocational Skills Training

Trades Offered
We equip youth and women with market-ready vocational skills including tailoring, carpentry, catering, baking, shoe-making and craft work. Upon graduation, beneficiaries receive a starter toolkit to launch small businesses. Our training centre operates year-round with qualified instructors.
Impact
Over 80% of graduates report earning income within 6 months of completing training. Many have gone on to employ others in their communities.

Schools Partnered
BMCM pays school fees, provides uniforms, scholastic materials and mentorship for orphans and other vulnerable children (OVC) in Kiboga District. We partner with 12 local primary and secondary schools to identify and support the most marginalised learners.
Impact
School enrolment among BMCM beneficiary households increased by 68% since programme launch. Many supported children have gone on to university.

HIV/AIDS Prevention & Care

PLHIV in Support Groups
Our HIV/AIDS programme provides free voluntary counselling and testing (VCT), psychosocial support, home-based care for PLHIV, and stigma-reduction community workshops. We train village health teams (VHTs) and link positive individuals to ART services.
Impact
Testing uptake in target communities increased by 45% over 5 years. Participants in our support groups report significantly improved mental health and ART adherence.

Demonstration Plots
We operate demonstration farms teaching improved crop varieties, soil management, and climate-smart techniques. Inputs including seeds, seedlings and basic tools are provided. Farmers are organised into cooperatives for collective marketing.
Impact
Participating households report average yield increases of 60%. Several cooperatives have opened collective savings accounts and invested in irrigation.

Malnutrition rates among programme beneficiaries fell by 40% over 4 years. Kitchen garden adoption reached 70% of enrolled households.

Environmental Conservation
